Apollo for forwarders

Use Apollo for what it does well in freight sales.

Apollo is good at contact data, email sequences and calling, and it has a free plan with no time limit. It doesn’t show shipment records, so it can’t find the shippers on your lanes or show what changed. For freight sales, find the shipper and the reason in a shipment data tool such as Coreties, and keep Apollo for sequences or for selling outside freight.

Shipment records have limits too.

About half of US import records name the shipper.

What we see
In our US import bills of lading, the shipper’s name is filled in on 49% of records.
Why it matters
A tool built only on US bills of lading misses the foreign shipper on about half of US import records. Export records from the origin country, such as India or Vietnam, name the exporter at origin.

Apollo plus ImportYeti

Two tools for one sales job.

Some forwarders pair ImportYeti’s US shipment records with Apollo’s contacts and sequences. The rep copies each company from one tool to the other, and lanes outside the US and Mexico aren’t there.
